Windows Kiosk Image
This is the core deployment workflow. Each page below is a discrete, completable task in a sequential build: install Windows, lock it into kiosk mode, install the DisplaySync sign app, integrate Tailscale, install crash recovery, validate, then capture the image with Sysprep.
Plan on 2–4 hours start to finish for the first image you build. Subsequent images take 30–60 minutes once you know your hardware.
Build on your target hardware
Drivers are baked into the captured image. Build on the same model of thin client you plan to ship. If your fleet has multiple SKUs, build one image per SKU.
